On April 12, 2025, to mark the 114th anniversary of Tsinghua University, alumni associations from Macau, Zhuhai, Zhongshan, and Jiangmen jointly held a grand celebration event at the Bay Area Future Science and Technology City in Cuiheng New District, Zhongshan. Dr. Xiang Yong, founder of TsingBosch (Zhuhai) Technology Co., Ltd. and a 1995 undergraduate alumnus of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Tsinghua University, was invited to attend and deliver a keynote address. His presentation highlighted the company's leading capabilities in the field of new energy testing and garnered significant attention and positive feedback from the Tsinghua alumni community.
As part of the event’s official agenda, Dr. Xiang delivered a presentation titled “Key Technologies for the Cascaded Utilization of New Energy”. Focusing on efficient utilization of green energy and industrial implementation, he shared TsingBosch’s cutting-edge explorations and practical cases in battery second-life applications, intelligent energy storage systems, and carbon reduction solutions. His multidimensional technological roadmap not only aligns with China’s national "Dual Carbon" strategy but also offers pragmatic and feasible pathways for Bay Area enterprises undergoing energy transition, sparking enthusiastic discussions among attending alumni.
“We have always believed that the Tsinghua spirit is not only a belief but also a driving force for action,” said Dr. Xiang in his speech. “From technological breakthroughs to industrial applications, TsingBosch is a reflection of how scientific ideals can be transformed into engineering practice.”
Held under the theme “Carrying Forward the Tsinghua Spirit, Fulfilling the Bay Area Mission”, the event gathered over 160 alumni and guests from the four regions. The celebration included a variety of activities such as health and sports sessions, intellectual competitions, and keynote presentations. Numerous alumni entrepreneurs and academic scholars engaged in in-depth exchanges and project matchmaking on-site. As a representative enterprise in the green and low-carbon sector, TsingBosch also leveraged the platform to establish multiple potential cooperation opportunities.
Against the backdrop of collaborative development in the Greater Bay Area, TsingBosch is accelerating the construction of an industry ecosystem centered on new energy technologies. In an interview with fellow alumni, Dr. Xiang stated that the company will continue to root itself in Zhuhai and leverage the Tsinghua alumni network to drive technological innovation, resource integration, and industrial synergy, contributing the wisdom and strength of Tsinghua-founded enterprises to the region’s high-quality development.
